SLIDELUCK threw its first rager in the East Bay by celebrating the work of 20 emerging and established artists on the closing night of MEGAPOLIS 2015. These guys and gals brilliantly packaged a potluck dinner with a slideshow of community artists, and has produced events in over 85 cities around the world since 2000. SLIDELUCK Oakland was a collaboration between the artists and Oakland saxophonist Joshua Marshall, who presented an improvisational score in front of the visuals. The theme of the show was Border, which mirrored the MF-2015 theme of Frontiers and served as the perfect send-off for our weekend-long audio extravaganza. Co-produced by MEGAPOLIS and SLIDELUCK Oakland and sponsored by Offset.
