Phillips and Dollar of Zoo Labs will present a workshop in rapid prototyping, using the basics of design thinking to introduce the idea of iterative problem solving for artists. Participants will create with hands-on activities and build solutions to presented problems with their brains, pipe cleaners, and tape!
Annie is a trained clarinet/bass clarinetist who does all she can to help realize creative visions and change her industry for the better. Outside Zoo Labs, she teaches at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and is a co-director of Switchboard Music. She has previously worked for the SF Symphony and the Magik*Magik Orchestra and performs in settings from staged performances of Schoenberg’s ‘Pierrot lunaire’ to recording for albums by John Vanderslice and How To Dress Well.
Brad is an inspired producer, engineer and guitarist. A Bay Area native, he has been cultivating art & community through music since his youth. His passion for merging our human connection into sonic landscapes that move people has carved out a place for Brad to help others achieve their greatest creative visions. This has lead him to elevate artists such as Bob Weir, Finish Ticket & The National to new musical heights.
