A user’s off-screen soliloquy in the summer. Fueled by an emulation of a 1960’s Rhodes Bass Piano, physical modeling synthesis, modular synthesis, custom instruments, impossible objects, and images by Coppice.
Coppice (Chicago) is interactions between the capture and generation of sound and music from custom designed and prepared instruments and devices. It draws from its glossary of study in bellows and electronics, and in digitally-seeded air from physical modeling and modular synthesis. Founded in 2009 by Noé Cuéllar & Joseph Kramer.
