Elana Gordon

Elana Gordon is a reporter at WHYY in Philadelphia and a founding member of the station’s weekly health and science show, The Pulse. Some of her most notable stories incorporate sound-rich journeys through places and history in Philadelphia, from the infamous Legionnaires’ disease mystery that went down at the iconic Bellevue hotel…to the often overlooked spot at Christ Burial Ground that launched Ben Franklin’s vehement quest to take down small pox. She holds a dual degree in music and political science from Barnard College.
